Going on Vacation during School Days

As the holiday season is approaching us, and we get deeper and deeper into winter, we completely understand the need to go on vacation. We understand when parents book vacation for a hotter destination before the Winter break as prices are cheaper when there school still runs.

Please send a message to your child’s teacher requesting the class-work and material prior to your vacation trip.

However, if your child is away while classes still run, it is your child’s responsibility to catch up with the lessons he/she lost while away. Our teachers will do their best to help, but it’s ultimately the student’s responsibility to catch up with the rest of the class.

Labeling Personal Belongings

We kindly ask you to label ALL personal items your child brings to school. Items such as pencil cases, backpacks, shoes, jackets, hats, gloves, sweaters, and any other item your child might lose. By doing so, lost items will return to their owner easily.

Unclaimed items in our Lost & Found Box will be donated.

Dressing Up for the Weather

This winter is predicated to be a hard and cold winter. Our students are going out to breathe fresh air for about 20-30 minutes every day (weather permitting). Please make sure your child is properly dressed with a warm jacket, snow pants, boots, hat, scarf and gloves. We also recommend having an extra pair of socks and pants in their locker as sometimes they get wet when the kids play in the snow.

If on a specific day you don’t want your child to participate in an outdoor activity, please send a note or notify Ms. Ariela by text or email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or 647-992-5380.
