"Please note that mid-term marks are not accepted for first semester (before January). The exception is if the student is applying to start university in January".

Prom

Prom is approaching quickly and the students at UMCA Rich Tree Academy are excited to be celebrating this occasion with the graduating students of this year and next, on Thursday May 28th  2020 at Paradise Banquet Hall. The evening will begin at 6:00 pm (doors open at this time, and students will be checked in by 6:45) and end at 11pm. Students will not be permitted to re-enter the banquet hall if they leave during the course of the evening. The evening events will include dinner, photos and dancing.

Entry $50  per person (purchased in January).

Entry $60 per person (purchased after January 30th).

As prom is a student event, we ask all students and attendees to acknowledge and sign the code of conduct. All regular school rules and policies will be in effect during the prom.

The administration at UMCA has not organized nor do they sanction any before or after Prom activities/events. Events held before and during prom, all transportation have been externally organized. The school’s management have not been involved in the planning and will not be supervising or participating in the events. Therefore UMCA is NOT liable for your child and their guest. By signing the form attached at the bottom, you acknowledge that your child is responsible for his/her actions and must act appropriately at the event.  They may not engage in irresponsible behaviour, they will not participate in illegal activities.

Blue Mountain Trip (Grades 5,6,7 + High School)

UMCA is happy to invite grades 5, 6, 7 and High School students to the Blue Mountain Resort on January 30-31 (one night sleepover). 

Please see the fees breakdown: transportation $70.00, hotel $60.00 (based on 4 people per room), Ski Lift Ticket $100.00 (for both days), Ski Rental Package $70.00 (for both days). Total Ski Trip $300.00. Total Ski Trip without Rentals $230.00. For those who don’t ski, or look for a cheaper option, there will be an option to do cross-country ski. The fee for cross-country is $30 per day for ski boots + ski. Food is not included.
