UMCA Rich Tree Academy is proud to welcome international students to our high school community.
We have extensive experience working with students from around the world, supporting them as they adapt to Canadian life and education. Currently, we are pleased to host a group of student-athletes who came to Canada as hockey players. They successfully balance their demanding training with our academic program, while receiving extended ESL support to help them integrate more quickly into the Canadian environment. Following the same academic requirements as all Ontario students, they work toward earning their Canadian high school diploma, make new friends, and enjoy Canadian culture, nature, and lifestyle.
Although the transition can be challenging at first, our international students quickly adapt and enjoy the experience, and most of them continue their studies at universities and colleges in Canada and the United States.
We welcome your child and you to take a tour of our school to experience first-hand the sense of community, the enthusiasm and involvement of our students in learning, and the dedication of our teaching team.
