About High School
At UMCA Private High School, we take pride in preparing students for the future with a strong academic base that supports success in both college and university. While academic achievement is essential, our approach reaches further: we guide students in building effective study habits, encourage personal growth through trips and school events, and support Grade 8 students as they transition into the challenges of high school life.
Our priority is creating a safe, enriching environment where every student feels motivated to succeed. We aim to instill in our students a genuine love of learning and provide the encouragement and support needed to reach their academic goals.
Learning here is active and engaging. Our teachers use creative methods—such as interactive projects, performances in English, French, and Russian, and spirited sports competitions and events – to make every lesson meaningful. Dedicated educators provide mentorship and individual attention, developing both confidence and curiosity.
UMCA is also home to international students, adding to a rich community of cultural exchange. Many of our graduates continue their studies at leading universities in Canada, the United States, and Europe.
Beyond the classroom, a variety of clubs help students discover interests, develop talents, and prepare for future career paths. The friendships students make at UMCA stay with them for years. From our small beginning in 2014 with few students, we have grown into a big high school family of nearly 100 learners – a community built on learning, belonging, and growth.
