UMCA High School Case Competition Vaughan Ontario

Dear Students and Parents,

We wish to use this opportunity and thank all the parents who sent us so many beautiful and thoughtful gifts. Your generosity and attention are very much appreciated, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Only a few more days until we will celebrate the end of 2020 and the beginning of 2021, and what a year it was! Globally, this was one of the worst years. A world pandemic leading to economic crisis all over the world. For UMCA though, this was a great year. When the pandemic started, we successfully transitioned all our classes into online learning, keeping our students busy and on track of their academic schedule. In the summer we moved to our new home, a state-of-the-art building, with spacious classes, its own theatre and art studio, and wide hallways. We implemented strict protocols to keep our students safe and healthy. We increased our student population and even welcomed international students. We have many new teachers and subjects that we never had before, such as Public Speaking and Persuasion, and World History Since the 15th Century. For all that, we are very thankful, to you, the parents, who trust us with the dearest to you – your children. Without your trust this would not have been possible.

We wish you and your families a wonderful 2021! May this year bring you good health, success, happiness, joy and prosperity! We are looking forward to seeing you all back in school, safe and healthy, on Monday January 4, 2021.

Case Competition

Yesterday, our Public Speaking and Persuasion class participated in a case competition facilitated by students from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto. They worked in groups to present their solutions to issues that real-life companies are facing. What a great way to end our term before the Winter Break! UMCA’s Referral Rewards Program

To make it easy and rewarding to tell your friends and family members about UMCA, we have created a Referral Rewards Program.

Do you love your time at UMCA? Are you confident in the skills and teachings you’ve learned from your teachers? Do you want more of your friends and family members to go through the same amazing education experience as you? If you’ve answered “yes” to those questions, then we encourage you to refer UMCA to those who are looking to have the same amazing experience as you had!

We’re sure that your experience at UMCA speaks volumes for the community we’ve built for our students – one that helps them learn, succeed, and strive – and so, it only makes sense to spread the word so others can earn an education at a notable and friendly institution.

You don’t even have to be alumni to refer your friends and family – both current students and graduates can refer students to the school. And, there are perks! The UMCA Referral Rewards program is our way of showing you appreciation for your support, and for spreading the word! Once a student, who you have referred, is enrolled in our school, and made his enrollment payment, you will receive $50 as a gift from us.

Make a difference in the lives of the people you care about, refer them to UMCA!

UMCA wishes you all a wonderful winter break and a happy new year!
