Welcome to the Department of Business & World Studies

In our Business and World Studies Department, students gain the skills and knowledge to understand both the global economy and the world around them. Through courses in entrepreneurship, finance, marketing, and management, they learn to think critically, solve real-world problems, and communicate effectively. At the same time, world studies encourage students to explore cultures, societies, and global issues, awareness, and responsible citizenship.

By combining practical business skills with a deep understanding of the world, our department inspires students to become innovative, informed, and adaptable individuals ready to succeed in an interconnected and ever-changing global community.

Business Studies

Marketing and Innovation, Grade 9, Open
This course introduces students to the principles of marketing, product development, and innovation. Students will learn how to identify customer needs, design creative solutions, and communicate ideas effectively. Emphasis is placed on teamwork, problem-solving, and entrepreneurial thinking to develop essential business skills.

This course introduces students to the fundamental concepts of marketing. Students will learn how trends, issues, global economic changes, and information technology influence consumer buying habits. They will develop marketing strategies related to product planning, pricing, promotion, and distribution.

This course provides an overview of the importance of international business and trade in the global economy. This course traces major developments in world history from the 1400s to the present.
